Born in KZN village of Indwedwe (number plate NDW satirically abbreviated No-Dogs-Allowed) and raised in Inanda (Durban) this film graduate from Wits University is arguably the next big music produce to hail from Durban.
Oz is a talented lyricist, rapper, DJ and actor. His debut album DIRECT TRANSLATION will be released in the autumn of 2013 and features the vocal talents of Smashis (of Cashtime Fam), Maraza (Channel O presenter & MC Africa Finalist), Zani Challe (of South West Divas), Kay E and Masikandi giant Sakhile Mfuphi. DIRECT TRANSLATION also contains the single IMAL' YAM' which enjoyed massive airplay on Channel O and Music Lounge (SABC1). His 2012 single NGIBATSHELILE recorded over a thousand digital downloads, and his latest single PROMISE TO OWETHU is enjoying warm reception from audiences nationwide being playlisted on Yfm and Ukhozi fm.
OZ's history in the music business includes working with successful producers like Helio (Crazy 8 by Zubz); Shota Mdabe (of Shana) and the legendary Brenda Fassie.
