OZ rocks Monash

April 21, 2011 will be forever engraved in the minds of all those who attended the Monash University Beerfest Carnival. Not only was the line-up crazy ranging from performances by Maraza, Cabo Snoop, Kwesta and Inanda’s very own OZ but so was the DJ line-up with Black Coffee being the cream of the crop.
The highlight of the nite was Angoleese pop star Cabo Snoop. This brotha sang and dance for a solid hour before retiring to pride of journos who all wanted a piece of him.

Also worth mentioning was Kwesta’s performance. It appears his swag has doubled since his SAMA nomination and he came hard with a new single which will hit both our radio stations and TV screens in no time. Catching my eye though was OZ. His intro was his own rendition of Black n Yellow which would bring Weez Khalifa into tears through its spectacular delivery. He then rocked the old time favourite IMAL’ YAM’ (which had the entire crowd singing along) before handing over to Maraza who performed his latest up-tempo single Don’t Stop. The performance was sealed by the performing of OZ’s current single IMAL’ YAM’ TOO ReLoaded which features both Maraza & Kay E. The trio (Maraza, Oz and Kay E) was also interviewed by MTV Base backstage.
